Anti-Spam & Responsible Messaging Policy
Alert21 supports permission-based, identifiable and relevant business communication. Customers must not use the platform for unsolicited bulk abuse, deceptive messaging or attempts to bypass recipient preferences or telecom controls.
1. Permission-Based Messaging
Before sending marketing or promotional communications, obtain the consent or other permission required by the destination, channel and applicable law. For transactional or service messages, ensure the communication is genuinely related to the recipient's relationship, action or requested service and is sent under the correct category.
2. Honest Sender Identity
Do not conceal or falsify the organization responsible for a communication. Use approved sender IDs, headers, numbers, domains or business identities and do not imitate another brand or person.
3. Opt-Out and Preferences
Where applicable, provide a valid opt-out method and process opt-outs promptly. Do not attempt to bypass DND, opt-out or preference controls by changing sender identities, templates, accounts or routes.
4. Recipient Lists
Purchased, scraped, harvested or randomly generated recipient lists create high spam and compliance risk. They must not be used unless the customer can demonstrate a lawful, channel-appropriate basis and Alert21 expressly permits the use case.
5. India DLT and DND
For applicable commercial communication in India, customers must follow current DLT/TCCCPR requirements, registered sender/header and content-template rules, consent or preference requirements, DND controls and applicable TRAI, operator or DLT-platform directions.
6. International Messaging
Consent, sender registration, opt-out wording, quiet hours and marketing restrictions vary by destination. Customers must comply with local requirements for every enabled country and channel.
7. Monitoring and Enforcement
Alert21 may monitor complaint, opt-out, rejection, delivery and traffic-pattern indicators and may suspend messaging that threatens recipients, networks, provider relationships or platform reputation. Severe or repeated abuse may result in termination and reporting to relevant providers or authorities where required.
